Just found out that Jeeja has a new movie coming out called Raging Phoenix, going to be released like August 12th. Of course it's a Thai film so might be hard to see outside. Described as a mix of martial art and hip hop. Jeeja is co-starring with a French Vietnamesse and they do some cool moves together. You can see some trailers and promo work on you tube just search 'jeeja raging phoenix'.

hmmm... seems Ong-Bak 2 was released December 2008 and looks as if went on video on July 2009. But, has made it to Best Buy yet. Been waiting awhile for this :( Looks like we will have to wait to see it. Of course can fly to Thailand and watch it :) and then go see a Muay Thai match that night.

I'm going to have to add this to the list of movies I need to pick up.

Are Muay Thai movies a major staple of Thai cinema?

Actually only Thai films I've seen are Tony Jaa and Jeeja's.

I've only seen parts of the first one but this just might get me to actually watch the first one completely. :)
