I love that movie - of course it needs to be watched whilst not taking it remotely seriously and some of the superimposing is a little dodgy but the film is a great laugh - plus there's lots of shouting by Mr Blessed.
The final battle with the Queen Soundtrack is brilliant

The final battle with the Queen Soundtrack is brilliant I love all of Blessed's shouting, he's great at that.  I remember seeing him recently in a Colin Baker episode of Dr. Who where he's shouting like a madman. Great stuff. |

Yeah - he's a great actor and no-one shouts better. The Flash Gordon DVD has an audio commentary that's just him shouting - genius.

Honestly dude...I can't f**kin stand them. Their "vocalist" is a joke and the whole band really doesn't impress me. Now I've had girlfriends and friends in general that liked them, but I think their music is garbage.

Oh right on. Are you a fan of theirs? I liked their stuff in the early/mid '90's. I just heard them on the radio the other day, a song I hadn't heard in years. Since you were much more in toon with the music scene then I, I thought I'd ask for your opinion. Do you mind if I ask your opinion on other bands? |
