That ESPN link you posted recently was pretty interesting. I can't say I'm a hard core football fan but I always try to educate myself as much as possible about the latest events. BTW, regarding the weekly game poll for next season you mentioned some time ago, I can create a sub-board within the General section this August for that if there are a few people willing to play along.

i just wanted to give everyone a buccaneer update: - resined Chris Sims(QB)
- resined Juran Bolden(CB) which was good because for awhile it was a weak position one the team but then they found Bolden last year.
- resined Matt Bryant(K) which was good because he has proving to be better then gramitica.
- Chris Hovan(DT) who helped stop the run which Tampa struggled the years before.
- and finally Mike Alstott(FB) who is one of the most liked franchise player of the team. he was once good and this will most likely be his last year so i hope it is a good one for him. he only needs a few more points to be the all time Buc scorer.
please update us on your favorite team because with 32 teams it is hard to fallow all of them ;D |

I heard that Tampa dropped Griese?
The Redskins found their second reciever in a trade with the 49ers for their leading reciever of 2005 Lloyd something?

yeah they drooped him to free up some room in the salary cap but they might end up re sining him in the long run. and Washington signed Brandon Lloyd for a third round pick this year and a fourth round next year.from what i have heard he is not that bad. ;D

Can't say I have a favorite team. I live in an area where the locals can either be a Ravens, Redskins, Eagles, or Steelers fan. I usually don't always go for the local teams though. Give me some time to think it over.  |

Give me some time to think it over. just some insight on the team: the ravens have signed Mike Anderson(RB) former bronco. last year he had 1014 rushing yards and twelve rushing touch downs and one receiving. they also signed Trevor Pryce(DE). he had 33 tackles four sacks and one forced fumble. the eagles have singed Shawn Barber(LB) former KC Chief. he had 34 tackles one forced fumble, interception, and sack. the redskins i have addressed earlier and the steelers have yet to do anything. |

So much money on two recievers doesn't make sense and we still need a DE which I'll guess will be our first pick which is in the second round. Maybe we should try for Griese since they are trying to trade Ramsey and problaby for nothing. that is true two wide receivers and still no QB.  with some many good QB free agents why 2 QBs. i think they also singed a tight end but I'm not sure. unless they are going to make Randal el a QB ;D Griese wouldn't be a bad acquisition he proved he can still play. |

I think Tampa is taking a risk with letting Griese go but his stats weren't impressive I believe? Mark Brunell can still play and will continue to be our QB and with these guys to throw to I hope that he can improve and that our defense continues to shutdown people especially runnning backs.
I was surprised E. James signed with the Cardinals but I guess they threw alot of money his way.

when it comes to a name like E. James you would have too. his rating was only 79.6 but some of the throws he did make where very impressive.

I'm just glad he's not with the Colts cause that makes Peyton's team weaker, maybe the Colts will go for Jamal Lewis if he isn't signed by Baltimore? I'm would like Dante Culpepper as our QB but that money went to Randal El. |
