since the new season started a few days ago i thought we could talk about baseball now. my favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles and favorite player is Melvin Mora their third baseman. who dose everyone else like? i wish the orioles would have resigned him they still might if his season is as good as his first two games.

I grew up near Baltimore so the Orioles have always been my favorites to a degree as well. I've been to Camden Yards and before that, Memorial Stadium, many times over the years. Like all teams, they have there good years and bad years, even thought it's been a long time since they've had any real good years, '97 was one of the last if my memory is correct. It's been nearly 23 years since they've made it to the World Series. That Melvin Mora always looks pissed. I also like the Phillies and the Blue Jays. Haven't had any interest in the Washington Nationals yet, I guess this is their second year. I still call them the Senators by accident from time to time.

Even though Baltimore is the home team for me I'm a Boston fan right now and as I said before Manny Ramirez is my current favorite player. Melvin Mora is a pretty good pure hitter and is an awesome homegrown talent I can see him making some cash whenever he becomes a free agent.

Wow that's great so far but it's a long ways to go my friend. Mora going to Boston would be cool but I would actually prefer him staying with Baltimore cause they have been developing some talent lately.

Oh I believe he will go whenever he's a free agent cause Angelos the owner won't pay most players especially when they deserve it like Mike Mussina did or Rafael Palmeiro when he was hitting for Baltimore.

Have you played fantasy football Bayushi Gemma? No I haven't done any of those fantasy things and as much as I love sports I'm afraid those things would consume me which is what I don't want. Sounds like there will be alot of ups and downs during your fantasy Baseball season. Which players do you have in your lineup?

No Manny huh what a shame! ;D Actually Puljos would have been a top choice for me and don't forget Big Papi Davi Ortiz. What happened to those Rockies hitters when Coors field used to be a hitters paradise now nobody has been doing much with Colorado the las couple of years? Must be the steriod testing?

i would have loved to get some of those guys but the basters before me took them. and the roids probably did play a factor. ;D speaking of Big Papi i saw that he was resigned for a couple of years.

Good for him and I hope Manny can show some happiness with Boston so these two can once again show why they are the most dynamic duo of the league.
