My cousin got a Corner tank last week and we have been store jumping like crazy to fill this bad boy up. It's a 55 or 54 galloon corner tank that is a beauty and if I can find a pic I'll try to show you guys what he got. I'm just curious if anybody else here has an aquarium or maybe was into this type of hobby?

I've had aquariums since I could remember, 30+ years. Now I only have a 15 gallon tank...just a few Gourami and Dainos. I've had Oscars, Goldfish and pretty much every freshwater aquarium fish over the years. Back in '87 I built a backyard fish pond. At first I had goldfish, then Koi. I guess I'm an aquarium nerd.  |

Cyd has been trading up tanks for months and now seems content with his dream aqarium. I've been to many trips with him to the Tropical fish stores and we still are looking for colorful fresh water fish. Here are some of what he has in his tank now: Newts - 6 or more? Bards - 3 different types( Tiger striped, Red and Gold) Some sort of snake Eel fish - 4 to count Bala sharks - 3 was 4 but one got eaten yesterday  Bottom feeders - 5 or 6 I believe Some sort of Lab fish - 3 dwarf frogs - 2 There are a few more but that is what I can remember right now. |

Dude, I have three of them. A 55 gal, 20 gal and a breeder 10 gal. I'll have to make a list of my fish.

Went to Wal-Mart today and he got some more Tiger Bards, Four more of the Labs in different colors and a possbile blind bottom feeder cause it looks like it has no eyes.  |

Cyd bought a 120 dollar fish for his corner tank and now has his prized fish. The most he spent before I believe on one fish was 30 for a knife fish that got eaten in like 3 days I think. |

Holy mackerel! $120 for a single fish! I hope it lives long...what type/breed is it if I may ask? BTW, have you or Cyd even been to the Aquarium Depot/Aquarium Center in Randallstown, MD? That place is a real Mecca for any aquarium aficionados on the mid-Atlantic. |

Omg I think that is the place we go to every week! Also that black corner tank you see in the video is EXACTLY what Cyd has. I didn't know it was called Scales cause it has a bland Tropical Fish banner in front of the store with no name showcased. Nice find there on the store and vid I'll have to show this to Cyd tomorrow when we play poker. |

Oh man Cyd's big fish that he bought DIED, he commited suicide in getting out of the aquarium and Cyd found him the next morning dried and stiff. The funny part is he had a cover but there were some gaps and that fish managed to shoot himself out of the aquarium to his death. Cyd did get another fish close to it but it's alot smaller and he added 3 Jail Bird fish to the mix. I beleive he also added a decent size Balla Shark but those guys keep dying on him and I don't think he will get them anymore if the recent ones die quick again. |
