my new addiction is cigars. I love them. Nothings better then getting home and sitting back and enjoying one. I keep my self stocked up but it's hard to keep my humidor full. Oh yeah and those book series call a song of fire and ice. Which they based that new show on hbo game of thrones. They are really good. And lots of fighting in it too. I can't put them down

My brother is a cigar aficionado as well. I haven't smoked one in years. My father was a cigar smoker long ago.

I do enjoy it. It's kind of hard sometime to get the money together for the really good ones. I went to a cigar party yesterday at our local irish pub. It was really fun. I won a rare cigar. I'm not sure if I can bring my self to smoke it. I guess it will have to wait for a special day.

Bought a new laptop today and a printer/scanner. One thing I need to do is get some protection for the laptop which I have yet to install so I gotta be careful for now. Printer is still in the box and I likely won't fool with it till I get some free time probably this weekend. The printer on cost me 20 bucks and really the ink is worth more than that.

Just download Microsoft Security Essentials. That should help, it's free. Sounds like a good buy. How's your old computer?

If I can't get the free protection from comcast then I will try that Microsoft Security Essentials, is it built into my laptop or do I need to find a link on that? Also does that give me a popup blocker and virus scanner? I want all I can to protect this laptop cause it didn't come with a reboot disk and I'm afraid if it gets corrupted then it's money gone down the drain.

I'm not sure about pop-ups. Just upload it and keep it up-to-date. Check the site for updates at least weekly. Full scan often too. Of course there is Norton and McAfee and others out there. You'll have to pay for those though. I'm sure there are others here that are way more computer savy then your's truly.

Does it work as protection as well? Yes. Check out the site. It's Microsoft. Does your laptop come with any trial protections? Something like a 30, 60-day trial membership?

Yeah it comes with some 30 day trial thing but I'm not going to pay for something I can get for free. Comcast gives me protection but I don't have the link at the moment.

How's your laptop working out?
BTW how is your action figure collection and Afflictions shirts coming along. It's been a while since I hear anything about them.

Oh I've been the steady course of making constant purchases of both. I just bought 3 Affliction shirts last week and the figures come along as I find them. I hear a bunch of new stuff comes out in February when most of the stores start restocking in new waves. I'm still looking for a TV and almost bought one but now I'm favoring on getting a LED over a LCD, still looking for a can't miss deal.

So in my room today I set up my old desk and finally hooked up the printer/scanner. I also tried to scan a picture but I'm unable to cut them down to size yet or put them in some sort of folder? It was so much easier on my old program and now I got to figure how the hell to do this when I get the free time.

Just open your image and resize them there.

BG, have you been buying any new action figures of note? Is there a new line of GIJoe's coming with the new movie?
