Hello jnight said it be cool if i posted my concept comic book here.
A have a few pics here, so tell me what you think of the idea. thanks for the looksee

concepts are not finished im currently editing and making new ones...

First off i love old samurai/ninja stories...this is my love project much as jnight as his Commando Massacres.
This book will have blood and guts flying and have mature material and just plain out acid trippy stuff with also some very straight forward stuff...

Shogan means "wish" and a alien race has come down during feudal Japan and gave numerous warlords (daimyou) unbelievable combat powers- posing as Gods to the the warriors. They (aliens) manipulate a path of War across the land...For what? Who knows?
But they give kick ass wishes

If anyone has ever played D&D a wish can always go wrong or not the right thing you wanted. One character wants to be as powerful as a Dragon...well he starts to turn into one-heh

A shi shi- these are statues of protection-One character- (child) wishes one to come alive to protect her...but shi shi trvel in pairs usually soo wheres the other one-heh wait and see

Wow! That is an amazing story concept. A very original and interesting story. The artwork is sweet, I especially like your architectural work. What program did you do those Naginatas, Bryce? Fuma looks awesome too! Please keep us updated, thanks for sharing!

Fuma is my favorite pic that guy just looks powerful, the Shi Shi looks like a guardian creature that should be for an Evil leader. Is the Doragon charater good or bad and is there a mother brain like character in the pic?

the Naginatas i just found some clip art. I will actually draw them. I also have some 3d models of some weapons in .3ds format.

Doragon starts out a good man. He ask the god(alien) to be as powerful as a dragon. He turns but then something called hunger takes over and he starts to eat people. hehe every time he eats he gains alittle more power.
Fuma.. which i like to come up with another name because Fuma in spanish means "smoke" He is of fire and can counter Doragon.


If you guys can think of another Japanese name for fire man or sword of fire that would be cool. I gotta go to work now but i will show you guys some more concpet work this weekend.

I'm curious Shipp, what medium do you draw in? Do you draw/ink your work and then scan and color your work in a program such as Photoshop?

I just use copier paper for sketches.
I use bristol board and mechanical pencil but my favorite pencils are the Dixon TICONDEROGA Black regular pencils. They are soft and you can even get them at Wal-Marts same for those cheapy BIC mechanical pencils.

I also color my stuff in Photoshop/Corel PhotoPaint.

I use a mouse to color as well.
I have a pen pad but its a cheapy and i dont like it.

I use 3d programs that i then blend in with PHotoShop. Sometimes heavy sometimes light depending on the picture.

I can ink but i dont like to do it. I usually do tight pencils and darken them with Photoshop.

That is a really cool story. Those shi shis look fierce. I can't wait to see more How long have you been working on this story?

Ive been working on the idea for quite sometime here and there but i am no concentrating on it a lot now...I am going to make a mini series of it. Print it locally and sell it locally. I will also probally sell it on line maybe. I will post it here a CM for all to see.
