I'm not sure how many of you have seen the show or read the books but I have enjoyed both. I started reading them in the early 2000's and I was super excited when HBO picked it up and made the show. And now I hear they are making another show which will be about the early days of Westeros. I have even heard a rumor that they are thinking about having a show just for the targaryens as well.
I guess to get this going on here who is everyone favorite character? Maybe even secondary characters too since there is alot of them.

I haven't read the books thus far. As for favorite, I have a few. 1. Brienne of Tarth  2. Tywin Lannister  3. Jorah Mormont  4. Daenerys Targaryen  Sansa Stark is my favorite Stark, even thought I like her less then I did early on. The opposite is true of Daenerys Targaryen who I have grown to like a lot as time goes by. I love to hate Cersi, Joffery, and Ramsey Bolton. They are all great characters. Who are your fav's Valo? Any word on when Season 8 is to premier? I expect Spring of 2019. |

My favorites are Bronn  Tormund  Grey worm  Tyrion  Olenna  They are in not true order. These are the ones that tend to entertain me the most. I also like barrisan and a few other as well just not as much as these few. I think my favorite stark has to be arya. Especially when you read the books and remember how young they actually are. But for me she has been through the most and she has the best story out of all of them. Even though they didn't add ot to the show they do have a story like where lady cat gets brought back from the dead and pretty much kills anyone she comes across with any ties with the lannisters or freys. I think I hated Joffrey the most. I know Ramsey did some horrible stuff but Joffrey really takes the cake. I think season 8 starts next April if I'm not mistaken. I hope he still publishes the last books. They are pretty interesting reads. You should give one a shot. Some people find the amount of pages intimidating but once you start it's not too bad |

Awesome! I like how your favorites are different than mine. Who doesn't like Bronn and Olenna stole every scene she was in. Tyrion is the great survivor. Of them all he's the only one I'm certain will survive to the end. I should have added Jamie Lannister to favs too or near favs. It's hard for me to find a character I dislike. Bran Stark is kinda boring but I'm sure his place and best use is in the final episodes. Of course the Night King is great! Do you dig the dragons? |

I know it's really hard to not like the night king or at least respect him. It seems like no matter what they do he always has an answer.
I like Jamie too. He really softened up when he was captured with brienne.
I agree bran is boring and if he would have listened to the 3 eyed raven guy then honor, summer, and the children of the forest would still be around.
Did you like how they had Benjin starm come back as a zombie like thing that saved john?

I guess Benjin was a half zombie or something but it was odd he comes out of nowhere and saves Jon Snow only to die. BTW, I do like Jon Snow. I'm curious what happens when he finds out he's having sex with his aunt.  |

There is a character in the books called coldhands and he helps bran get to the children of the forest that he hints maybe ben so maybe that was there way around it. I like john now more then I did in the earlier season. He seemed as little stuck up in the beginning but season after season he has probably grown the most more then any other character. Yeah I don't know how they are going to feel about it when they find out. I know I can't wait until they find out. So who do you think is going to make it until the end. I have a feeling either john or Danny is going to die. They may even kill Arya. I'm up in the air about sansa and bran. I could see the night king going after bran. It's almost like he sees him as a rival. Oh man I forgot about the hound. He has been one of my favorites since the first episode!! |

Game of thrones is an odd one for me. There are so few characters i have liked throughout...with characters i liked becoming characters i hate (looking at you Stannis) and vice versa (Sansa). The only consistent characters i have liked were Ned and Davos.

The only consistent characters i have liked were Ned and Davos. I can see what you mean but that's kind of one of the great parts of the show and how they make it. You kind of see it through alot of characters eyes and their point of view so that you understand where they are coming from. And war will change people some for the better and some for the worse. I think it's cool to see the character development through out the seasons. There really is no true heroes of the show because when you look at it they are all the villain to some other character in the show. They don't really have those true noble people beside ned and we saw what that got him. I do respect Davos because that poor dude just can't really ever catch a break. I like him as a team up with Jon now too |

A great character to follow. I did like last season or two when all these characters from different nations finally met each other after seeing them apart. Jon Snow and Dany and when they all met to see the captured Wight Walker. Game of thrones is an odd one for me.
