Just wanted to let everyone know I use about five different image hosting sites for the various images on this board. They include: www.photobucket.comwww.imageshack.uswww.upload4free.comwww.uploadyourimages.comwww.imageshosted.comI do this so if one of these sites goes down or has difficultes, the other images (or avatars) here are not effected. You all now from other boards a red X where an image is to be, indicates the host is down. This is usually temporary. Just wanted to let you know if you see it  . |

Have you been using upload4free.com on all your picture postings Jnight? Cause I was doing some backtracking and found ALOT of the photos unavaliable from upload4free.com. This seems to be a constant problem with them.  |

This seems to be a constant problem with them. I haven't been using that image host for a few weeks, I noticed that they have been having problems. This is why I use multiple image host so only a few images go down. I thought they would have fixed it but I noticed they are still down  . I really can't complain though, they are free so I'm grateful for that. If there is any images that are down and you really want to see I can find another image host for that piece and edit the thread. A few months ago I had some trouble with my Photobucket account but that cleared up. |

well thats seems like alot of back up you got there and I'm doubting any of your images will ever go down. So you have all of those 4 sites hosting your images at once?

It seems as if the images on the www.imageshosted.com account are down. If they, imageshosted.com, don't come back up soon, I'll upload the more recent of these images into another image hosting company. Sorry  . |

Sorry for any images that are not showing. It seems only Photobucket, Imageshack, ImageCave and XS.TO are the only ones able to give continued service. If there is any images you want to see again that are down, just let me know.

This is an ancient thread but TinyPic is shutting down in the coming weeks so images hosted on that site will likely disappear soon. I have used them occasionally for some of my images and will try to reload some of them is they are lost. It's a similar situation when Photobucket and Imageshack dropped their free accounts a few years ago. I'll probably use Dropbox or Google from now on. |
