What about the man himself. Who's the best Bond? .....Roger Moore....? I had a poll a few years ago regard favorite Bond....before Daniel Craig was Bond. I'm with you Roger Moore was the best. I grew when he was Bond and liked portayal of the character. I liked Connery, classic indeed. Never cared for Dalton, Brosnin was okay. I haven't seen OHMSS for years so I can't remember much of George Lazenby. I liked Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, that movie rocked! I have yet to see Quantum of Solace, besides hear of the reviews.

My favourite is Thunderball - don't know why but I find it captivating. After that I reckon it's From Russia with Love and the Living Daylights

I prefer Dalton - just seemed to be the closest to the character in the books. I know it's not a popular choice but he's just the one I like best

I liked him as the prince in Flash Gordon among others.

The Fleming books are definately of their time - they're both good and bad at the same time if that makes any sense. Can't beat Dalton in the Rocketeer or in Hot Fuzz

Has alot for the Borne feel to it with the action, but I've heard his Bond is close to the Fleming version as well.

I call bullnuts on that whole "the new Bonds are just like the Bourne movies"!
To me they are nothing a like. Bourne has a frantic on the run kinda feel. Bond is more along the lines of "I know what the f**k im doin get outta my way". Plus I think Casino Royale has more flair then Bourne.
by the way I voted Live and Let Die. You gotta love the voodoo and of course Sir Paul Mcartney's kickass song as the opener.
I would say bond wise I like Connery the most though. My line up would be Connery, Moore, Craig, Brosnon.
I didnt care for Lazenby or Dalton.

I'd have to watch all these Bond movies again. I remember liking Moore the best, but Dalton is so awesome in Flash Gordon I'd like to give him as 007 another try (plus I think Kim Bassinger is in one'a his Scha-wing!) I just watch Flash Gordon like 2 weeks ago for the first time in 20 years...it was amazing. Completely blew me away. I like those Jason Bourne movies too. They were all really good.
