I just watched an interesting program on my PBS station, a Nova program called Secrets of the Samurai Sword. A very fascinating program about the actual making of these beautiful weapons.
Dr. Stephen Turnbull was in a few shots talking about the history of these weapons. After reading his books for years it was cool to actually hear the man speak.
This program originally aired in 2007 so some of you may have already seen it.
