This girl is wearing the sacrificial robe. She will be sacrificed to the sea gods. Notice the gold...Her hat and robe have it. Gold is not in shortage on Sado Island. The mines in Aikawa are worked by the slaves. The Shogun of Edo gets half the profits and keeps the secret guarded of the cults presence on the Island.This is also easily done as Japan during this time era cut off all its borders to outsiders. The cultist are banished here from Japan but that's just a guise...real criminals that are banished here are put to work in the mines. The ones that dont comply Shogan kills in a duel to the death. Shogan never looses, to anyone. SHOGAN's daughter is to be sacrificed for the new powerful gods. Tide is low at Sado Island, this mean the sacrificial Rock has a walkable trail to it. The gods call upon a sacrifice.  |

Now this is much better! I so much prefer your art when you use more colors cause most of the time the images just look too dark and in my opinion holds back on what could be some incredible stuff. Keep the colors flowing! ;D

Keep the colors flowing! ;D hehe, i understand. The cultist are actually flamboyant in colors, that is for sure. The rest of the art is going to be dark. Sado Island is kinda on a dark age. Kojiki keeps the weather dark and unstable most of the time. He rules this Island basically through superior technology. He uses holograms to persuade cultist into believing what they see. Holograms work best under misty/foggy conditions. so dark colors.  I do love to use warm colors and more of that will be shown.  |

You know what your art reminds me of really is like the movie Sin City being mostly in black and white with few colors showing, it's that kinda image/feel I get for your series.

You know what your art reminds me of really is like the movie Sin City being mostly in black and white with few colors showing, it's that kinda image/feel I get for your series. Well then... i shall have to add some more color, because that is not my intentions in style, hehe. Thanks for your honesty. It helps me. I just wish i didnt have to sleep. not enough time. |

She looks great, I like her sacrificial robes...great detail work all around. What a shame she has to be scarified to the sea gods. How many of these scarifies occur on a regular basis?
I like your use of some nudity on your series. Toned-down is the way to go I think. Too much cheapens the characters. Only poor writers/creators rely on nudity to sell their characters.

She looks great, I like her sacrificial robes...great detail work all around. What a shame she has to be scarified to the sea gods. How many of these scarifies occur on a regular basis? The cult is going through a major shift. You see the Cult worships Dragons, any dragons. Dragons of fire, earth, wind or water... So far at the beginning of the story the only glimpse of the Gods powers has been the Lord Kagemusha (who uses illusions with the help of Kojiki) and BIG ASS Shogan to protect them with his fire blade. Kage is freakin crazy, Shogan is warrior bound. Kojiki's motive is more to make something out of Shogan. He could care less about the humans. The cultist are driven by that they are the chosen ones. This Dragon cult is very war like and you have to hold your own in combat but there also has a rich aristocrat side. SHogan has to duel to keep his postion since the water Dragons have shown up and tip the balance of power. Basically higher intelligent species are taken advantage of a lower life form that is Humans. The reason they chose Japan is because they want to train a mighty warrior to fight for them on another world. Also the Earth is covered with enough water. So when the Sea Gods show up the cult is all to eager to bow and take in any orders the Gods want. The first thing they want is a sacrifice (this is a ploy done by Kojiki) and a giant sea dragon comes to take Shogan's daughter away. Kojiki is a direct speaker to the gods  (the gods can be Holograms generated by a Drone or can actually be the Vorphals showing up as Sea gods to the svagae humans..Kojiki manipulates the cult by using illusion and a grand scheme that the Cultist are the chosen ones. |

The story begins with Shogan returning from a 6 month trial of steel, where he made his own sword. But only to find that the cult (flaky as it is) has changed powers from fire to water! Now a balance must be made.
so you see there are lots of secrets and 2 layered story going on here.

But in reality Shogan's real father raped a Okinawan women and Kojiki ripped him from her stomach. She would'nt have survived anyways. Shogan's Dad was 9 feet tall. poor women. I know its a terrible story. I am also going with Kojiki stoled him from the Anunakian's...the race that is Shogan's Father. But not much is know of them...to the reader at least. |
