btw, bottom right sketch is Shogan's sword propelling him skyward. He becomes enraged that he stabs his sword into the ground and then yells as his sword pushes him skyward.

Very cool. Sketches are great in planning out pieces. My desk is filled with pencil sketches with poses, concepts, ect.
I like that ninja with the pole-arm. Please share more.

Thanks! Remember Shogan's sword is made from metal from a space ship. (Kojiki's Spaceship) When Shogan was folding and bending with the symbiotic metal, it forged a mind-meld with Shogan. He can control it's size/shape... more doodles  |

Wow, you have a lot going on there. I like how Shogan has the power to transform his sword. You have a great technique with feudal Japanese era style clothing and hairstyles. BTW, what are these doodles drawn on, paper, tablet?

BTW, what are these doodles drawn on, paper, tablet? I hope its not too much. basically everything i am telling you all here, unfolds for the reader. You think its just another Samurai story and then the sci-fi slant hits you. The tentacles are a long range weapon. So i had to give advantage to Shogan, with a long long sowrd, lol. Also Shogan changes through out this comic, slowy turning into a dragon, which is his bloodline of Anunakians. but as a half breed, it has something interesting effects. He is slowy changin from Dragon-Man, Dragon CAT and then to a Dragon.\\ He is kind of like a WereDragon. weird huh. hehe the doodles are done with ball point pen on copier paper. |

Sorry it took me so long but i have been putting in a clutch for my truck.
So far the cast is
Shogan
Shogan's small ninja clan
Shogun of Japan and his army.
Kojiki the Shaman and his technology; underground UFO/base and his many Drones that keep a eye on everything.
KageMusha the crazed cult leader.
100s of cult followers, most are warriors and their spoiled rich families..
Goseki the second guard.
Jazimoto, Shogan's Daughter
Shogan's wife who is taken away by a sea serpent (psst, they are really Vorphals, hehe) in the beginning of the story.
The Vorphals that participate from the Ocean, but can come on land by infecting lifeforms, yes just not Humans but also animals. They are going to look wild!
They infect humans but make it look like GOD like powers are given to them. HA not.

Most of the story takes place on Sado Island, which is a island of banishment, back in medieval Japan. Also Japan sealed its borders from outsiders, so covert operations on an island of banishment makes for some good security. Sado Island has a HUGE gold mine so slaves are sent there to work the mines. Shogan and the cult are forbidden to leave the island, that is the law and the Gods will. That is what Kojiki has told/brainwashed everyone, including Shogan to some extent. The island actually has a huge force field surrounding the island and also controls the weather. by the time Shogan actually gets free and makes it to Japan, well he is large, lets say Behemoth! I have not told this anywhere else, but when Shogan transmogrifies and gets as big as Godzilla later in the series....you see he transforms from hybrid-Human to like a were-Dragon, well Kojiki doesn't like this, so he decides to inject Shogan with a serum and makes him turn into a HUGE dragon. The one bad flaw that Shogan's race has is they like to eat women. beautiful women in fact, when Shogan gets transformed temporarily, he heads to Japan to eat. big spoiler there.  |

Another big spoiler...Kojiki is the only kind of his race on the Island. There is Vorphals and Shogan's half blooded family. but the rest are human. I will you tell you why but it is the very end spoiler. |

yes, i am working on some more Jazimoto in different costumes, ceremonial and ninja.
I have not designed the Shogun yet, as he enters later in the series.

Cool, I look forward in seeing Jazimoto again! Is your series on ongoing story? I assume you have several stories together, written or at least in your head, but do you have an ending for it or is it something that evolves over time with no end planned...on ongoing story or series of stories? |

I see my series as a mini series, because i believe a Warrior should die in the end, but save the day. At least for this wild war mongering story. but i could see Shogan branching out and bringing Martial Arts to the universe, fighting aliens and such on other planets. Who knows but i think he finds his true race and is not accepted at all by them. so that leads to other stories.
