A 3.7 mild earthquake was recorded in Montgomery County and it totally woke me up from my sound sleep. It kinda felt like being close to a train and only lasted for like 10 to 15 seconds. It was a first for me and am glad it was just mild.

I read this on the new services first thing this morning and my mother told me she woke from it too. I guess I was too far away or too sound asleep to feel it. I do remember a minor earthquake on Easter in 1984.

I do remember a minor earthquake on Easter in 1984. It was strong and loud enough to wake me but I just went right back to sleep when it was done.

Last Thursday we had some major thunderstorms that totally made my comutes to work and home timely. I don't know why but we have been getting stronger storms lately that have taken out power multiple times around my way. Is the end of the world coming soon?

I think the end is scheduled for December 2012, but I'm not making any special plans the end of the world. Yeah, I remember a certain later-June day when a T-Storm came out of no-where and I got the seats of my car pretty wet.
