Saw Ong-Bak 3, decent movie starring Tony Jaa. Takes place were Ong-Bak 2 ended. The two kinda make one story, kinda like Kill Bill. They take place in ancient Siam/Khymer. Though ancient isn't probably correct as probably closer to their medieval/fedual time frame. Don't want to go into too much details. The first one was probably my favorite, because of the crazy Jackie Chan style stunts. 2 and 3 were good action films, don't watch for the storyline, but you get some good fight scenes. There some good Aspara style dance thats worth watching for. Not many movies of this culture, of course not hard to find Chinese and Japanese movies of similar style.
I think Jeeja has some new movies out or coming out, will have find out more. Not sure why Jeeja and Tony haven't made a film together, seems like a good idea to me.

When I'm in the movie watching mood I'll certainly have to look into this series of movies. 1431 Thailand isn't a period I've very familiar with and so I'm even more intrigued.
