Hopefully he wasn't affected by this and shows up here sooner or later. Well I have the good fortune to report I received a note on Deviant Art from Brad and he is okay.

Hopefully he'll swing by when things get straightened out a little. He said he lost a tree but I'm sure he knows alot of people who lost everything. I read that this tornado was the worst that hit a populated area in the USA since 1947.

If all he lost was a tree then it sounds like he got really lucky. I wonder if he stayed home during the tornado?

If all he lost was a tree then it sounds like he got really lucky. I wonder if he stayed home during the tornado? I don't know, I didn't ask too many questions in my note. I'm sure he has other things to do then to talk to people online when his city is in ruins. I'm sure he'll swing by here when things get settled a little. I'm very glad he's okay. My heart goes out to all of those people who lost everything in Joplin. If Joplin was closer and my Cadillac was 100% I'd be on the road to help.

I didn't know Shipp lives in Joplin. I really hope he's alright. Tornadoes are really terrifying. My heart goes out to all of the people of Joplin.

hi guys! Im fine, in fact i posted on here and it didnt post. I think i shut my laptop lid before it posted, when i do that it puts my comp in suspend mode, oops Anyways, my town is unrecognizable it looks like its been carpet bombed! Pictures dont do it justice. I had a tree come down but no damage this time, last winter's ice storm tore up my place though. Extreme weather here, we dont have fall or spring anymore its hotter than hell right now and muggy... I donated some clothing to several of my friends who lost everything. My wife and i lost 2 friends. They will be missed! I usually work 10 hour days and now i am working 12 hour days and Saturdays and some Sundays, We have people from all over the country here doing clean up and they are breaking their machinery left and right. I work in Hydraulics and we have been blasted at work double fold! Wow we can hardly keep up...not much time for me to do any artwork. or work on Shogan Comic...speaking of that i am looking for a writer to help me publish my story. I just dont have the time to do everything. The Tornado is and has changed Joplin, it is so hard to get around, so crowded and 800 business, some of my favorite are gone, but not the memories. I use to live in Kansas and been in a few but this one was HUGE! keep us in your hearts and i will be back. take care all.

I'm glad to hear that alot of people are coming in and helping. If I didn't live about 1100 miles away and my car was so old I would be driving out to help. I'm glad and your family are okay. Sorry to hear you lost a few friends. After seeing all the damage from the news coverage it seems like a miracle that more were not killed. I'm glad to hear that your job wasn't effected negatively by this disaster. On the Shogan comic front, if I didn't have a mountain of work to do on my CM Universe series I would help you write. I still may offer too if for some reason I find some time. You have alot of great ideas and I really did Shogan. I know the feeling in regards to the weather. Around here it's been very hot in recent weeks and had the same winter/summer....no spring/fall seasons. Were there areas on Joplin that were spared alot of damage or was it pretty equal all around? Well to say the least I'll keep you and Joplin in my thoughts my friend.

Wow intense looking video! Sounds like you will be cleaning up for a very long time but priorities come first and that is family and home over your creation. I hope you take care of business and can get back to a normal state sometime soon.

The town is moving along and so many celebrities came here to help out. Brad Pitt, who is from this area donated a bunch of money. I am still working 6 days a week 12 hour shift. I even have to work all weekend. When you are the only hydraulic shop in town and everything going on here runs off of hydraulics...well its as busy as WalMart in our shop. :/

That sounds like some serious OT. It's good that celebrities make a point in coming out to help. Disasters can happen anywhere and we're all in this together. It's good to hear from you. Please stop by when you have the free time.
