Either we've been invaded without my knowledge or the Vikings seem to have got lost Was the Steelers/Vikings game in London a big affair in the UK? Do people in the UK follow American football at any great length? I read 83,000 people attended the game. I think there is another game this season at Wembley, Oct. 27, Jacksonville/San Francisco.

They generally only show the Superbowl but they are showing both London games live and there's a 1 hour weekly summary show on this year. There might be more on some sports channel on Satellite or cable somewhere. I must admit I enjoyed the game and will watch the second one but I primarily watched it because the Vikings are my Brother in laws team of choice. Jaguars are my nephews team of choice and so I'll watch the second one too

In saying that I just discovered we get one game a week in the middle of the night and so I'll have to look into it ha ha. Not having a local team I'm drawn to the Patriots and so I'll try to follow the season.

I live in an area where there are four local teams, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Baltimore is the closest team to where I live and my birthplace, even though they are the reigning champions I'm a lukewarm fan at best. I just like seeing good football played no matter the team. Now Jeff do you have a football/soccer team? I know the UK has some great teams.

Going to Uni in Glasgow I learned quickly to avoid football as there was a fairly bitter rivalry between clubs there and so I found it easier to ignore
