The more I see of this movie and the more I'm turned off by it. The Shredder is an American I think and the Turtles are looking like mini Hulks with pirate outfits. If the reviews stink I'm likely not to watch another beloved 80's franchise destroyed by Michael Bay.

Ugh! I've NEVER been a TMNT fan. It was an okay cartoon twenty-some years ago but that's about it for me. The marketing has always been wrong for this franchise. It may have been better geared as the boys aged 4-10 version of My Little Pony. The entire premise seems so far fetched for young people, teens. The movie trailers look like almost every action/comic book movie for the past fifteen years. Weren't the turtles to be space aliens early on in this movies development? Re-boots, cartoon/comic book to live action isn't always a great idea. They certainly don't look like turtles or ninjas. Again, it's all for 4-10 year olds IMO.

I liked them when I was young but I never liked them as a serious movie. The cartoon turtles was the best.
