I haven't been much into wrestling like I was before but this new company is growing fast and is starting to compete with the WWE, they will have a show on TNT Network which should help them grow even more. With names like Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and many more I'm looking forward to seeing them push at the WWE like the WCW did once.

AEW wrestling coming in early October on Wednesday nights, I might be curious enough to tune in to this.

I missed the debut of this show and need to catch the replay, hopefully they can give the WWE a run for their money like WCW did once.

I haven't seen wrestling since the end of the Attitude Era in 2002. I read, heard, that Vince McMahon once had the opportunity to by UFC in the early 2000's and Shane wanted him to buy it but he refused. I don't know if there is any truth to that but what a mistake that would be if true. UFC killed a lot of wrestling for many over the years among other things.

If anything Wrestlers going to the UFC and fighting helped make it, Brock Lesnar for one was Champion at one point. The great thing about AEW is that it's like the attitude era is back and many people who would never get a chance in the WWE to shine do get some limelight in the AEW. They are so open they bring other wrestlers from other promotions and work with them something Vince would never do. New Japan, Impact, and many others have been on the show including many old school WWE guys that we grew up with working with the company today.

AEW is growing scaring fast! Just last weekend they got Ruby Riot and Daniel Bryan to join the show, and many WWE free agents are still out to get.

This has nothing to do with AEW but Ric Flair will wrestle his last match on July 31 on an independent show. Still unsure who he will wrestle? I'm guessing Jay Lethal since he's been practicing with him.

Rich Flair wresting at 73, will it ever end? Who do you think he'll wrestle, Sting?
Come to think of it the Stinger's BFF Robocop could come to any rescue.

Funny thing is Sting still wrestles and is with AEW but the older guys need younger talents to sell their moves. Some have been saying Chris Jericho may be Flair's last opponent? They sure are taking a long time for this opponent announcement. Sting helps sell the young talent Darby Allen who is pretty cool and sometimes crazy.

The Sting vs Flair rivalry was great in it's time. I thought Sting had a major back issue and had to quit wrestling in 2016? I'm assuming he still uses his "Crow" gimmick over the original "Surfer" gimmick. These guys can't give it up unless they physically can't perform, hence no Hulk Hogan, etc. Added money even at the later stages of their careers can't be bad too.

Ric Flair was always good at bleeding. Jeff Jarrett is still 18 or so years younger than Flair.
Good to see Arn Anderson still around. He doesn't look much different than he did 35 years ago. Flair should have reunited the Four Horseman for one last match. WWE surely has the rights to that though.
