Well I've seen both volumes and I think Tarantino made a great homage movie(s). I especially like the cameos of Sonny Chiba and Gordon Liu. As a long time fan of the genre, it was interesting to pick out different movies Tarantino paid homage to. Of the two "volumes" I perfered the first, more action and it ran at a faster pace. The second volume I think went a little too slow at times and was full of empty diolog. I really liked David Carradine's performance though, it's a shame we don't see him more often in the movies. As for the rumors of a volume 3, well I hope Tarantino makes a few more movies before coming back to Kill Bill, maybe in ten or so years.

SPOILERS
i thought volume one was great but that left problems in volume two. for instance the only asian character is killed off but they still use swords in the sequel. He also dodged alot of action for the sequel such as duel on the beach in the moonlight. (which would have been a great throw back to samurai movies)

*SPOILERS*
I agree Pirulaso, I was really looking forward to that beach duel. I also wished there would have been more of the Pai Mei (Gordon Liu) character and more training scenes. I just wasn't convinced the Uma Thurman character was all that tough at all. I was also expecting about the same level of action going into Volume #2 that was in Volume #1. Nevertheless still a great movie.

I liked them both the second really didn't drag for me it just had less action than the first. I also have to add that I saw the second volume first.
