The Seven Samurai is a Japanese movie that was released in the 60's or 70's I believe. They released it over here, but you had to read subtitles . Now The Magnificent Seven is a movie that takes place in the old west and is based off of The Seven Samurai. I suggest you look for them both, but especially The Magnificent Seven.

It's been a very long time since I've seen either of these. Actually I discoverd The Seven Samurai though a documentary on it's director Akira Kurosawa. I think it was released in 1954. I have to say it's been ten or fifteen years since I last saw it but I'm going to have to look it up now since you mentioned it. It's a true classic. The Magnificent Seven is another classic. Yul Brynner, Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, and Robert Vaughn.....how could you go wrong.

Hell yeah.
Charles Bronson is in my top three favorite actors. Plus you left out another great, Steve McQueen.
