I thought we could use a thread on any findings of some cool Ninja stuff, like pics, comic characters, games, or anything really! Any cool finds would be interesting new!

I was thumbing threw a Feb. 1985 issus of Inside Kung Fu and came across this ad:  I got a little laugh out of it. These old magazines really are loaded with cool martial arts/ninja equipment. This was the first time I saw this thing. $449 back in '85 wasn't too cheap, If I figure correctly with 19 years inflation that thing would go for about $706 today. I may give the CM an adaptation of this thing  . |

That is funny and expensive for back then, but it would look cool if you could incorporate it into a comedy pic somehow. Interesting find!

Just wanted to note that Black Belt magazine has a good article on historical ninjutsu in their October 2004 issue.

I spotted this old add in the November 1985 issue of Black Belt: I found it kind of amuzing. I like the "mug shot" look to this add  . I was always curious how many people bought this sort of thing. These old magazines are filled with similar adds, I guess someone made some money off of this stuff. I'm also curious what the $2.00 "Secret Ninja Code" is ;D. |

An interesting find I actually do like the hood and the fact that it's reversible, but that price is sick especially for back then.  The Ninja Code on this one is S U C K E R!!! ;D |
