Here is a link to ADC/TNI's news article on this set from October, toynewsi.com/index.php?catid=9&itemid=4536 . This set looks really cool, does anyone plan to purchase this set when it becomes available? This seems to be the best "new" ninja product for Hasbro's GIJoe series in quite some time.

When did this paw print come about on Kamakura? That Black Dragon figure is SO LAME, just an Iron Grenadier with a decal. Put some effort into the Black Dragon Hasbro!

Here is another link to an ADC/TNI pic of this set: toynewsi.com/index.php?itemid=5270I kinda like the "Tiger Claw" repaint of Kamakura, I guess Kamakura died . Shadow Strike looks cool too. The weaponary and accessories impress me the most...so far.

I finally got this set today. A great value! The figures were good, but it was very good to see these new weapons. The base/beam set was questionable, I didn't like the fact the pillars collapsed. I guess Hasbro wants everyone to think Ninjas are mindless destoyers . The filecards were, as usual, poor and laughable. The comic was good. The video was okay too, I thought it made Storm Shadow look like a weak punk though. You know the thing that really impressed me with this set was the packaging. It took me about 15 minutes just to open and free the figures. All I thought about was someone in China having to fit all those things in there. A really good packaging job. By all means, a great value.

The packing Hasbro does on their GI Joe and Transformers are so OVERDONE, it took me over 20 minutes to get a Unicron out and the Ninja set was no joy either. Todays kids have it bad in that department what happened to the foam? Bring it back it can't be destroying the earth that much? ;D

Most of the time it took me to open this set was spent getting the figures out of their poses. A good looking package, but do the kiddies today really have to have all of this? I would be just as happy with an illustrated box, like in the old days.
