The previews for #4 are up over at Devil's Due, www.devilsdue.net/5pg . I'm eager to see how this mini series ends up.

Well I got #4 (and GIJoe #43) today, I will not say much until everyone has read it. I had alot of action but I have to say the art really killed this series for me. I'll comment in more detail later.

spoiler alert....
i like storm shadow's new name(the phoenix master) it sounds very fitting considering he has escaped death many times. however, snake eyes has evaded death too so i guess that makes them the "phoenix twins" haha

I have to say I like issues #2 and #3 the most of this series. I wish we knew who was really dead in the final issue though.

Well I finally got around to reading this last night and felt it was alright nothing mindblowing but that how it is when you have to continure a series. They have really cut the Red Ninja Clan short now with only six members. It seems like Thomas's woman will show again since her body wasn't found. Overall I'm alittle dissapointed cause with a Storm Shadow story there should have been a key confrontation with a death in my opinion and Sei-Tin doesn't cut it in my book. I also agree with Jnight that the art was a turnoff just not an appealing style.

Sei Tin could have been cooler too and I thought the titanium backbone was weird. Overall I liked it but M&A I was better IMO. Storm Shadow as a "good guy" just doesn't cut it for me. With all this drama with brainwashing and loyalties, he's become a weak and indecisive character. BG, have you read GIJoe #43?

I so prefer Storm Shadow with Cobra but it doesn't look like he be much longer. That's next on my read list hopefully by tonight.

I liked it. I wish Junko wouldn't have died or appear to have died. She could have been a cool character. I agree with Jnight and Bayushi, the art was not really my thing this time around.

I can't believe they had the nerve to charge 4.50 for that, if this story continues with these characters I'm totally out of it cause it was that bad!

First off, I thought Lady Jaye's death was very weak. When I read it in #42 I thought it wouldn't be the actual death within the series that had been so promoted. I'm still wondering what was the whole point of the Red Shadows. I have to say, I've bought almost all of the DDP run of GIJoe but #43 was by far the worst. #5-#25 was IMO the best of the run. I like DDP and I'll give Joe Casey a shot, but if things continue in the same manner as they have so far this year, I don't think GIJoe in comics will make it through '06.
