Man, just bought this game today and it is d**n good. The fighting is very fast and well done and keeps you wanting to play the game.
There are two playable characters. A dual katana weilding samurai and a 7 foot tall gigantis mace carrying monk. It's based on an acient Japanese fable and set in fuedal Japan.
As you go through the game you earn money by defeating enemies and you can buy new weapons and armor for your characters and your look will actually change according to what your wearing.
And there's this cool special power thing that lets you slow down time and if you hit the promted button at the right time you will dodge and counterattack the slowed anemy and pull of a killer move.
It's for PS2 and only 35 bucks used.

Yeah.
The in-game sword choreography is done by a well respected Japanese choreographer that specializes in sword fights.
So it looks really good.

Yeah.
I'm not a big fan of those games. They're kinda slow and un-responsive and there basically is no story behind them. Though there is alot of cool ninja tools to use.

You are right about Tenchu being slow. I usually play Online FPS games like Tribes2 and Quake.
I wish they had a ninja game or GiJoe game like that.
