i guess the pressure on his toe nail was just to much. did he return after that? Oh yeah! I don't think he went to the hospital or anything. He just had a bandaged toe the next week, like nothing happened. He joked about it.

Grew up with a dad that was Special Forces. He is a Black Belt of Karate and Judo
Taught me up until my browns in both. I then studied under Steve Ousley who was taught by Dan Insanto. Jeet Kune Do for several years. Filipino Stick and Muay Thai classes and some wrestling. Im a punch and kick guy but if take me down to the ground im going to jab my fingers in your eyes... lol And learn a little underwater combat in dive school in the Navy.
I wish to get back into the martial arts and take some fencing classes. BUT I sit around drawing anymore. Its starting to get to me.

Wow, that sounds very impressive....especially the Dan Insanto part. That guy is a legend. How many years were you in the Navy if I may ask? Also, thank you for the service to our country.

I had to briefly give up on my Tae Kwon Do class until sometime in the fall. Just don't have the money or time now. My car insurace is outragous. I was almost ready for a new belt test too. That class really got me back into top shape. I hope I have the money to return soon. Just letting anyone interested, know

Just letting anyone interested, know I was wondering what happened, haven't heard you talk about your class for some time. When I took Hapkido class, it was something like $1000 a year and that was in 1988-1990. Hope everything works out and you get back to class.

I thought it should have dropped. Maybe I should look into a new insurance company I had to briefly give up on my Tae Kwon Do class until sometime in the fall. Just don't have the money or time now. My class cost $1600 a year if I took the class for the full year. You can pay per class, monthly, every six months or even yearly. I'm doing my best to keep in shape while not in class. When I return, the last thing I want is to have to recondition myself. Thanks guys!

I'm no new member but I did join Karate like 3 weeks ago and so far I'm enjoying it. It's complicated at times but my teacher said it takes years to really get it down. It has totally taken away from my weight lifting program and now I'm down to once a week on working out so far.
