BG, I remember you asking me which paper I use. I use Strathmore Drawing (medium) 400 series 9"X12" pads of 24 sheets. For the whiter pagers I have the Strathmore Drawing 400 series "Premium Recycled", both at 80lb.

Ok whenever I go to the mall I'll try to make a stop at Michaels but I think it's your art really very professinal looking and organized.

BG, I remember you said something about getting new pads, are they the same weight as your older pad?

jknight and BayushiGemma,
I was reading through this thread and caught an off-topic discussion from you concerning the difficulties of drawing (and painting and sculpting) the human figure. I'd say that's probably my strong point, so if you're interested, I can post a mini-tutorial on figure drawing. Just a thought ...

I'm always interesting in seeing how people draw their pieces.

Today I bought a How to draw comic book Heroes and Villains book at a closing B. Daulton store which I got 30 pecent off. So I'm hoping this will break my drawing funk.

I don't really know I would guess they should be fine since I keep the caps on them, why did yours dry out in time without use?

I don't really know I would guess they should be fine since I keep the caps on them, why did yours dry out in time without use? They have held up reasonably well even though the fine nibs seem to dry up quick on those older Prismacolor markers. I do have a few 2004 markers (yes, I date them ) that I use frequently. I use many of the same colors and have to replace those quite often.

BG, any luck with the new book helping you? Don't you have another How to Draw Manga Ninjas and Samurais book as well?

I have to incomplete concepts and I did start a Sun piece that I may try to finish but nothing completed yet. That's good, I hope they turn out. The best way for me to get out a long rut is to draw my favorite characters to get me into the flow again. Concepts are always for me a little harder than the poses and such. Some times I can come up with a cool (I hope) concept and other times it just dies.
